I'm a Product Design Engineer based in Los Angeles with 13 years of experience designing systems used by millions of people. Today I'm the founder of Zovie, building Growl — a native iOS cooking app designed and engineered end-to-end from a single Figma source of truth. Before that: leading design systems and shipping Calm Sleep at Calm, and five years of fintech systems at Experian. Design, for me, is an architectural responsibility: systems thinking and high-fidelity craft aren't in tension, they depend on each other. I use AI as a sparring partner, but I stay my own toughest critic.
